AJ Has His Sights Set On Wilder

Anthony Joshua remains undefeated after the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight title holder knocked out Alexander Povetkin in the seventh round despite a sloppy start and he is already eyeing up his next opponent.

The heavyweight champion of the world’s number one target for his next fight in Wembley on April 13th next year is American Deontay Wilder.

We have made it red hot at odds of 1/2 that Joshua will take on Wilder next. The pair have previously been in negotiations for unification match-up which later fell through.

Should it go ahead this time round, Joshua is the firm favourite to win at 4/6 with the Bronze Bomber, Wilder, a 7/4 outsider.

If negotiations collapse again with Wilder, Tyson Fury is next in the betting at 3/1, with Dillian Whyte priced at 6/1.
The Gypsy King has recently launched a scathing attack on Joshua after he was left out of the list of potential opponents during the post-fight interview on Saturday.

Wilder and Fury have set a date for their WBC heavyweight world title bout for December 1st in Las Vegas with Joshua saying on the fight “May the champion bring themselves to the UK and we will have a good dust up. Wilder is my No 1 choice but I am done talking now.”

At 4/6, Wilder looks set for a straight forward win against Fury (23/20) when the two come to blows later this year.
