Mayweather Backed To Take McGregor Down In Boxing Bout

Floyd Mayweather has taken credit for starting the rumours about a bout between himself and Conor McGregor. The Notorious has only fuelled rumours by posting a mock staredown poster of the two on his Twitter account.

Although unlikely, both camps have said that the fights is ‘possible’ and BoyleSports have betting available, that doesn’t quite lean in McGregor’s favour.

Should the pair agree to a boxing match the Mayweather is the red hot odds on of 1/10 to dominate McGregor, who is available at 5/1 to shock the undefeated Mayweather.

However, should the fight take place in the UFC octagon, the odds favour Featherweight champion McGregor at 1/12 with Mayweather available at 13/2.

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have sent the media and sporting world into a frenzy as they continue to add fuel to the fire about a possible fight.

The betting is understandably siding with Mayweather should they head for 12 rounds and McGregor if they opt for the octagon. Regardless of the venue it would most certainly go down in history as one of the greatest clashes the boxing and MMA world has ever seen.
