McGregor v Khabib Part II Is Odds-On For 2019

Conor McGregor has been made an odds-on shot to get a second chance to take on Khabib Nurmagomedov in the Octagon after their first fight ended in chaotic scenes in Las Vegas at the weekend.

The Russian defeated McGregor with a choke in the fourth round, but a mass brawl broke out afterwards when Khabib left the cage to confront McGregor’s camp.

UFC boss Dana White has promised sanctions but also refused to rule out a rematch between the controversial pair

, while the Dubliner has already published a tweet saying that he was ‘looking forward to the rematch’.

BoyleSports rate the chances of them facing off again in 2019 at 4/7 but the odds also suggest any rematch would deliver the same result, with McGregor a 2/1 underdog to exact revenge on his rival and Khabib a hot 2/5 favourite.

The prospects of a rematch taking place in Dublin however remain remote at 50/1, despite reports that McGregor is eyeing up a hometown fight after his controversial defeat in Las Vegas.
