Punters Backing McGregor To Beat Mayweather Jr

The most highly anticipated fight of the century, Floyd Mayweather Jr v Conor McGregor, has finally been confirmed for August 26th in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.

The mega bout will be the first time UFC champion, Conor McGregor, will take on a boxer, but punters have faith in The Notorious as they continue to back him to win.

His odds have shortened into 11/2 from 13/2 as further support rolled in off the back of the official confirmation.

However, Floyd Mayweather Jr, the unbeaten five-division world champion boxer, is the red hot favourite to win the bout at 1/11, despite drifting from 1/16.

The fight is 4/7 not to go the distance, with a rematch available at 5/2.

We’ve priced up some specials on the historic bout, which see McGregor priced at 4/6 to be knocked down first. Mayweather is the greater odds of 7/1 to be knocked down first with no knockdown priced at 13/8.

Both fighters to be knocked down during the fight looks unlikely at 8/1.
