Saturday’s sport includes the World Cup 3rd/4th place play-off between Brazil & Holland, seven race meetings from Ireland and the UK, continued coverage of the Scottish Open and more.

FOOTBALL
There are two live matches on TV on Saturday – they are:
International Club Friendly – Monaco v St Veit (2:00pm kick-off, live on Premier Sports & Setanta Sports 1)
FIFA World Cup, Third Place, Play-Off – Brazil v Netherlands (9:00pm kick-off, live on RTE2 & ITV)

HORSE RACING
There are seven meetings in the UK and Ireland on Saturday – they are:

The second day of the Diamond League event in Glasgow takes place at Hampden Park with all the action live on BBC1 from 2:00pm.

BOXING
The cruiserweight bouts at the Echo Arena in Liverpool take place on Saturday night as Tony Bellew takes on Julio Cesar Dos Santos and Nathan Cleverly faces Alejandro Emilio Valori (live on Sky Sports 1 from 7:00pm).

CRICKET
The fourth day of the First Test between England and India takes place on Saturday morning from Trent Bridge in Nottingham. England were eventually bowled out for 544 in their second innings when the sides met here in 2011, leaving the tourists needing 478 for victory (live coverage today gets underway on Sky Sports 2 at 10:30am).

CYCLING
The eight stage of the Tour de France takes place on Saturday with the riders travelling a 161km journey from Tomblaine to Gerardmer La Mauselaine (live on TG4, ITV3 and Eurosport from 1:00pm).

GOLF
On the European Tour, the Scottish Open (live from 10.30am on Sky Sports 4) moves into day threeat Royal Aberdeen, while in the States, the John Deere Classic (live from 8.00pm on Sky Sports 4) also moves into the third round.

The Women’s British Open is also into round three at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club (live from 1.00pm on BBC One).

There are six BAGS meetings across the course of the day. They are:
