Cavan Lotto Punter Collects €21,610.20 Christmas Cracker

A punter in Cavan received a timely boost to their finances this weekend when some lucky numbers allowed them to pocket a stunning Christmas bonus.

The anonymous customer took their punt in a BoyleSports shop in the county and picked numbers 3, 16 and 33 to come out in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday evening against odds of 1,500/1.

Their €10 stake returned an initial €15,010 when all three rolled out.

But not content with that, a further €0.20 wager on numbers 3, 16, 33 and 42 added a further €6,600.20 to their haul when that tiny bet overcame odds of 33,000/1 for four numbers.

The winning bets cost just €10.20 between them but in the end, they were able to walk off with a total windfall of €21,610.20.

There’s no bad time to pull off a stunning coup like this, but to do it just before Christmas must be particularly satisfying for our customer in Cavan.
