Christmas Comes Early For Kilkenny Punter

We can report that Christmas has certainly come early for one lucky Kilkenny punter after their Lotto numbers clicked on Wednesday night.

The customer who wishes to remain anonymous played six combinations of numbers on the six and seven numbers side of the Lotto Draws costing a total of €72 but it was their €5 stake on the numbers 8-9-19 & 27 that defied the odds of 7,500/1 and 3,800/1.

The four numbers were drawn in the Lotto Plus 1 draw and the punter netted €37,505 from the six number side and €19,005 from the seven number side combining their total winnings to €56,510.

If the punter had played the numbers with the National Lottery they would have only won €20 for matching four numbers so they certainly have a smile on their face with Christmas just around the corner.
