Cork Winner Transforms €4 Flutter Into €12,259

A punter in County Cork has enjoyed a massive boost to their festive period when a Lotto flutter saw them pocket a stunning five-figure sum.

The anonymous customer placed four small €1 wagers in a BoyleSports shop in the Rebel county on Saturday for the Lotto draw later in the evening.

Their most ambitious bet faced odds of 7500/1 for four numbers to come out but when 11, 17, 24 and 29 rolled out, an initial €7,501 was in the bag.

However not content with that satisfying win, another €4,758 was added by different combinations of the same numbers.

From their total investment of €4, they walked off with a grand total of €12,259.

This should be a Christmas to remember for our punter in Cork after going In with small stakes and coming out significantly richer.
