Kingdom Punter Scoops €14,001 On 18/1 Virtual Racing Double

A Co. Kerry punter was laughing all the way to the bank this week after scoring a mega five-figure payout in the space of a matter of minutes.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, staked a €30 each-way double on two virtual horses via their online BoyleSports account on Tuesday.

The first horse, Bacardi N Coke, romped home at 22/1 in the 4:31 Lucky Lakes and with only minutes until the off in the next race, the punter didn’t have long to wait to discover just how lucky their investment was going to turn out.

The second selection still needed to overcome odds of 18/1 to land the bet, but when Springroll won the 4.37 Boylestown,

it meant the bet was now worth a staggering €14,001.
