Lotto Luck For Louth Punter Who Bags €10,000

A Wee County punter scooped a large return when their Lotto bet clicked on Saturday night, seeing them better off to the tune of €10,000.

The customer placed their Lotto bets in one of our County Louth shops on the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Saturday. The bet consisted of a €1 accumulator and four €1 trebles, seeing them stake a total of €5 on their lucky numbers.

Both the accumulator and the trebles were placed on the same four numbers; 11, 16, 18 and 22.

The bet would have only returned €20 if it had have been done with the National Lottery.

The €1 accumulator returned the greater sum of €7,501 with the €1 trebles returning €2,504, bringing their total winnings up to a staggering €10,005.
