White Christmas Odds Skyrocket Thanks To Storm Barbara

Despite waking up to a cold and frosty morning on Tuesday, the odds of a white Christmas in Ireland have skyrocketed.

As Storm Barbara threatens to treat Ireland to a wet and windy Christmas, BoyleSports have pushed their odds of snow on Christmas Day out to 12/1 from 7/1 with it now 1/100 from 1/16 that there will be no snow on the 25th.

Both Dublin and Cork have drifted out to 12/1 to wake to a blanket of snow on Christmas Day, having been priced at 7/1 and 9/2 respectively.

Belfast is shorter odds of 13/2, but have also drifted to see snow, from 5/1. At present Edinburgh are the 7/2 favourites to get the white stuff on Christmas Day.

Unfortunately the odds of a White Christmas have melted down to a disappointing puddle as it is now 12/1 from 7/1, as Met Eireann warn we will be in for a damp and dreary weekend thanks to Storm Barbara.

Snow or no snow we at BoyleSports hope that everyone has a fantastic and joyous Christmas and a very happy New Year.
