Wicklow Punter Pockets €14,244 From €4 Lotto Flutter

A punter in County Wicklow received an impressive boost to their finances at the weekend after scooping a whopping five figure sum from a couple of modest Lotto bets.

The Garden County customer placed two winning wagers in a BoyleSports shop on Saturday, the most ambitious of which was a €2 accumulator on four numbers at odds of 6,500/1.

Things went down to the wire as numbers 7, 38, and 47 all landed within the main six, but it was only when 14 rolled out as the bonus ball that the celebrations could begin.

That pocketed them an initial €13,002, but they added a further €1,242 when a treble on numbers 14, 38 and 47 overcame odds of 620/1.

In the end their total investment of €4 was transformed into a grand total of €14,244.

We have to congratulate our lucky County Wicklow customer on their big win.

We’ve no doubt they’ll be basking in the glory having parted with only €4 for the pleasure.
