Tony Pulis

LMA Manager of the Year 2014 – Betting Odds

The League Managers Association Manager of the Year award looks as though it will be snapped up by a Premier League manager.

Tony Pulis heads the betting at 2/5 to claim the award for taking Crystal Palace from the brink of relegation in the Premier League and securing mid-table success.

Manchester City have the Premier League title in their grasp but that may not be all the silverware they see this season as manager Manuel Pellegrini is 7/2 for the LMA award. Liverpool have had one of the greatest seasons the club has seen in years and Brendan Rogers is 9/2 to secure the award for his efforts with the Reds.

On the lower end of the betting is Hull City’s Steve Bruce and two Championship clubs managers, Sean Dyche and Nigel Pearson who are all on offer at 66/1 with Boylesports.

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive at Boylesports, commented “Tony Pulis turned Crystal Palace around this season and has sought mid-table status for the Eagles, he is the 2/5 favourite for the LMA Manger of the Year award.”

She added “Brendan Rogers has had a whirl wind season with Liverpool bringing them the closest they have been to the Premier League Title in years and is 9/2 to receive the prestigious award.”
