Kevin Kilbane – Sunday’s Premier League Betting Preview

I’m going to be at West Brom v Man United on Sunday and I’m really looking forward to it for many different reasons.

Can West Brom build on that midweek draw against Liverpool? The lack of creativity under Alan Pardew has been pretty alarming with no goals scored in the three games he’s taken charge of.

Man United themselves have won 8 of the last 11 games at The Hawthorns and had a good win themselves midweek against Bournemouth after what I felt was a poor performance against Man City.

Lukaku is an interesting one.

He’s scored 30 goals in his last 38 games against sides not in the Top 6.

He’s back in form, scoring midweek against Bournemouth and this game is just set up for him to score against his former side. I fancy him as an Anytime Goalscorer at 21/20 with BoyleSports.

Alan Pardew has actually beaten Jose Mourinho three times in his career, a record which only Mark Hughes has equalled in the Premier League. But
overall, I think that Man United will be too strong here and take the three points away from home.

Bournemouth v Liverpool

Bournemouth have no wins in their last five games. Contrast that to Liverpool’s brilliant run of form and a Liverpool win should be a no brainer surely? Well, it’s not that straight forward after Liverpool’s disappointing draw at home to West Brom midweek.

The main parallel we can draw here is that Bournemouth will set up like West Brom did, sit deep, soak up the pressure and leave no room for Liverpool’s pacey attack to get in behind.

Bournemouth have lost only 1 of their last 22 games against side in the Top 6, an unbelievable record really. Case in point was last season where Bournemouth beat Liverpool in a 4-3 cracker.

I do fancy Liverpool to win here but as always with this Liverpool defence,

I’ll be backing both teams to score also. I’ll also be backing Liverpool To Win & Over 2.5 Goals with BoyleSports.

Liverpool are six points worse off than they were at this point last season and they need to get back to winning ways immediately.

Defoe is in great form with 3 goals in his last 3 Premier League games and I wouldn’t put you off backing him at 5/2 Anytime Goalscorer with BoyleSports.
