Seeley’s Selections – Arsenal v Swansea Stats & Tips

Arsenal continue their pursuit of the runners-up spot in this year’s Premier League on Monday night when they entertain Swansea at the Emirates.

The in-form Gunners, who are unbeaten in their last 11 matches, are 3/10 to win this with BoyleSports and with just one defeat in their last 34 Premier League games at the Emirates the big hitters will be out in force for this one.

I think Arsenal’s quality will show through in the end, but I couldn’t back them at that price with anybody’s money.

Garry Monk has been one of the best managers in the Premier League this season and with a win already at Man United, and with the Swans’ looking to finish in their highest ever Premier League position, motivation won’t be an issue for the visitors for this one.

Swansea are a massive 11/1 with BoyleSports to get the win, which I’m sure will be popular, but it might be a little bit too much to hope for even for their most optimistic of followers.

They did get a 2-2 draw here last year and a stalemate could be on the cards again at 19/4 with BoyleSports.

Both teams have scored in the last three meetings between these two sides, who play some of the most attractive football in the Premier League, and another cracker is expected again.

At Evens with BoyleSports I really do like both teams to score yet again.

Arsene Wenger’s side have scored exactly two goals in their last four meetings with the Swans and I also like them to keep that record going again. A 2-1 victory looks decent at 15/2 and has been the result in two of those last three matches.

This fixture, incredibly, has seen 21 of the last 22 goals scored come in the second half of the match with the home side usually taking a little time to get into their groove.

At 29/10 a nice bet looks to be the game to be drawing at half-time and Arsenal to be leading at full-time. I’m also very keen on the 10/11 with BoyleSports on the second half seeing more goals that the first 45 minutes.

Olivier Giroud will be a popular choice at 10/3 with BoyleSports punters to open the scoring yet again at the Emirates, but I like Aaron Ramsey at 7/1.

The Welshman is coming right back into goalscoring form after an injury-hit season and the midfielder has now had a hand in six of the Gunners’ last seven goals, including a goal at Hull last weekend – he would be my choice.
