Dublin Are Red Hot Favourites To Defeat The Red Hand

Dublin have been backed yet again to make it four All-Ireland titles in a row ahead of Sunday’s showdown against Tyrone.

Jim Gavin, whose only All-Ireland final win as a player came against Sunday’s opponents, has seen his side close in to 1/7 from 1/6 with us to be lifting Sam Maguire again after a dominant campaign.

Tyrone are out at 9/2 to be crowned winners for the fourth time in their history and for the first time since their last final victory at the expense of Kerry ten years ago.

With Dublin 1/6 to get the job done in 70 minutes, punters have turned to the handicap betting and are continuing to back the 27-time winners at Even money even with a 6-point deficit.

Castleknock man Ciaran Kilkenny is also expected to seal the Footballer of the Year accolade and is a hot 11/10 favourite ahead of teammate Brian Fenton at 3/1.

Jack McCaffrey (6/1) and Brian Howard (16/1) are also in the running while Colm Cavanagh is the only Red Hand in the hunt according to the betting at 5/1.
