Eddie Brennan To Take Charge Of Kilkenny Hurlers?

Laois were not given much of a chance against Dublin at O’Moore Park on Sunday, but manager Eddie Brennan said he had every bit of hope that they were going to get a result ahead of a team meeting on the Friday before the game.

The 40-year old former Kilkenny hurler, who has eight All-Ireland medals to his name, is 5/1 from 20/1 to head back to his beloved county to re-join the cats as their manger and take over from Brian Cody, who has been manager of the Kilkenny hurlers since 1998.

DJ Carey is the current 11/10 favourite with another great Henry Shefflin next in the betting at 13/8.

The O’Moore men were full value at 7/1 for their 1-22 to 0-23 win that sent the Dubs crashing out of the Championship just three weeks on from their monumental win over Galway.

Kilkenny legend Eddie Brennan has now guided Laois to an All-Ireland quarter final in his debut season as their manager.

We have cut the Joe McDonagh Cup winners into 80/1 from a massive 2,500/1 for the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and a Laois v Limerick SHC final is priced at a handsome 40/1.
