Kerry Close Gap On Dubs In All-Ireland Betting

Kerry have been backed into 3/1 from 9/2 to win the All-Ireland SFC for an unprecedented 38th time after their dominant Munster Final victory over Cork.

The Kingdom closed in on long-time favourites Dublin following a 17-point win over Cork on Saturday which included three goals. Dublin remained unchanged at 8/11 at the top of the betting after they strolled to their eighth Leinster title in a row by beating Laois with 18 points to spare.

Donegal, who denied Fermanagh their first Anglo-Celt Cup in the Ulster Final at Clones, are 10/1 from 12/1 to get their hands on Sam Maguire, joining Connacht winners Galway as joint third favourites.

The weekend Championship action proved costly for BoyleSports, who were left reeling after their double winnings offer for a goal in the first ten minutes clicked in five matches including qualifiers between Mayo and Tipperary, Offaly and Clare and Louth and Leitrim, as well both the Munster and Leinster Finals.

It was no surprise to see Dublin remain on course for a fourth All-Ireland in a row but the flies in the ointment are lining up behind them and both Kerry and Donegal have attracted decent money after winning their provincial titles this weekend and

if the trends to continue it could get even closer at the head of the betting.
