Pádraig Harrington has missed out on qualifying for the US Open after a bogey at the final hole of Walton Heath’s Old Course.

BoyleSports are refunding over €7,000 worth of ante-post bets placed on the Dublin golfer after declaring him a Non-Runner.

Rory McIlrory will make a bid for his second US Open win, having won in 2011 at the Congressional Country Club and continues to head the betting at 9/2. Jordan Speith is hoping for his first US Open and is second in the betting at 7/1.

Tiger Woods won the tournament on three occasions and is on offer at 14/1 to claim his fourth win at Chambers Bay. 2013 winner Justin Rose has been attracting a lot of support of late and can be backed at 20/1, alongside Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson.

After Pádraig Harrington narrowly missed the cut on qualification for the US Open next month BoyleSports decided to refund all bets as a show of good faith.

McIlroy is the firm favourite at 9/2 and the biggest loser in the book, but there has been a recent rush on Justin Rose to claim his second US Open win.
