Boylesports Donate €1000 To MND With Ice Bucket Challenge

There was a slight change of focus during Round 3 of the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby at Shelbourne Park when ten brave men took centre stage.

Pat Buckley, Declan Carey, Pat Curtin, Shane Dowling, Ian Fortune, Paul Hennessy, Kevin Hennessy, Graham Holland, Owen McKenna and IGB chairman Phil Meaney all volunteered to to take the “Ice Bucket Challenge” to raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease Research.

John Boyle is kindly donating €100 for each of the ten challengers while collection boxes circulated through the track during racing with generous punters doing their part also, raising the total to over €1,500!
