Dorotas Wildcat Shortens Further For English Greyhound Derby

Last year’s English Greyhound Derby champion Dorotas Wildcat is a popular greyhound with the punters and is seeing plenty of support in the ante post market.

The Kevin Hutton-trained star is getting better with every run and is returning to his best form just in time for the big classic event.

We have cut his price into 4/1 from 9/2 in the outright with 4/6 available for him to win his quarter-final on Saturday night at Nottingham.

He has won his last two heats with last week’s clock of 29.28 his best of the competition so far.

Irish raider Skywalker Logan is a huge threat in trap two after breaking the track record in the opening round. Logan is 3/1 to win his heat and 8/1 to give his trainer Patrick Guilfoyle his first English Greyhound Derby win.

Droopys Verve returned to his top form in the third round resulting in the Angela Harrison speedster being the 5/6 favourite in his quarter-final. Verve was the runner up to Dorotas Wildcat last year in this competition with 8/1 available on him to reverse the order this time around.

Magical Bale is the Even money favourite cut from 11/10 to book his place in the semi-final and remains unchanged at 6/1 in the outright.

We have made it a 3/1 prospect for all three runners, Dorotas Wildcat, Magical Bale and Droopys Verve to win their heats.

Ballyanne Sim (20/1) still remains our biggest loser in the book.
