BoyleSports Pay Out On Elliott For Trainers’ Championship Following BoyleSports IGN Win

The Gordon Elliott trained General Principle pipped Willie Mullins’ Isleofhopendream at the post, by a nose, to win the Boylesports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday in dramatic fashion. The favourite Pairofbrowneyes was among a number of fallers.

The Gigginstown-stud owned, General Principle, gave Elliott his first ever win in the race and saw him claim the €500,000 prize fund.

As a result BoyleSports have paid out on all bets on Gordon Elliott to win the Trainers’ Championship title.

Cracking result in the BoyleSports Irish Grand National with General Principle, who was quietly backed from 33/1 to 20/1, just holding on from his well fancied stablemate Isleofhopeandreams in what proved a very busy race with a good spread of money for much of the field.

As Gordon Elliott celebrates his first ever Irish Grand National win…

we have paid out on the Meath handler for the Trainers’ Championship title as it now appears to be more of a formality.
