Definitly Red Is Grand National Mover

With less than a week to go until the Aintree Grand National, we can report further support for the Brain Ellison trained Definitly Red.

The son of Definite Article, who was last seen winning the Grimthorpe Chase at Doncaster by 14 lengths, is now 10/1 joint favourite from 12/1 alongside the David Pipe trained Vieux Lion Rouge.

He is one of the best backed horses in the antepost book and is now one of the biggest losers for us ahead of Saturday’s race.

Lucinda Russell’s One From Arthur, who will be ridden by Derek Fox, is next in the betting at 14/1 alongside the Gordon Elliott trained Cause Of Causes who was eighth in the race in 2015. Also priced at 14/1 is the Nigel Twiston-Davies trained Blaklion.

The Last Samuri, who Definitly Red beat at Doncaster last time out, was second in the race last year and he is seeing plenty of solid each-way support at his current price of 16/1.

It’s also 16/1 about the Willie Mullins trained Pleasant Company, Gordon Elliott’s Ucello Conti and the Jonjo O’Neill trained More Of That.
