Dubliner Egg-static After €1 Easter Flutter Turns Into €7,500

A Dubliner had an Easter weekend to remember when a small €1 wager paid dividends in the best way possible.

The anonymous customer went into a BoyleSports shop in the capital on Easter Saturday and placed a simple €1 accumulator on four numbers coming out in the main Lotto Plus 1 draw that evening.

They needed all four numbers to land, but when 4, 7, 16 and 21 all dropped within the first six numbers, the customer had conquered odds of 7,500/1.

When their stake was returned along with the winnings, it saw them emerge with a grand total of €7,501.
