Rose Of Tralee

Outright Betting

The Rose of Tralee ante post market is seeing plenty of local support around the country but it’s the Kerry Rose Sally-Ann Leahy who has sparked a reaction on Wednesday and we have cut her price into 7/1 from 12/1.

Sally-Ann Leahy is from Causeway in North Kerry and is a Home Economics teacher, loves to travel and is a volunteer with the Chernobyl Children’s Fund. The Kerry Rose won Best Dressed lady at the Killarney Races in 2016 and most recently completed part of the Portuguese Camino Trail.

The Kingdom have been showing their support not just for Sally-Ann but also the Kerry footballers, who face Tyrone this Sunday at Croke Park in the semi-final and…

it would be a mighty double if Kerry could win the All-Ireland SFC and Sally-Ann were to be crowned this year’s Rose of Tralee which is priced at 55/1.

The Kerry Rose is now joint second favourite with the Antrim Rose Orlagh McClinton from Glenavy and the Mayo Rose Nicole Loughlin from Shrule, who has drifted from 7/2. Kildare Rose Emer Fogarty is the 6/1 favourite.

Donegal’s representative Chloe Kennedy has received a series of bets to wear the winner’s sash at this year’s festival, which would be a first for the county.

The 20-year old from Donegal Town has completed her first year of Psychology in Maynooth University, loves drawing and going to festivals with her price trimmed into 22/1 from 33/1.
