La La Land Tipped For Three Of Big 4 Awards At Oscars

The 89th Academy Awards take place on Sunday with La La Land expected to steal the show.

The romantic musical is set to continue its award dominance at the Oscars by walking away with three of the Big 4 awards at 2/5.

La La Land is the firm frontrunner at 1/7 to take Best Picture, with director Damien Chazelle even shorter at 1/14 to win Best Director. Leading lady Emma Stone is also hotly tipped to win Best Actress for her role as Mia in the flick at 1/6.

Best Actor is the category that could let La La Land down, as Ryan Gosling, who plays Sebastian Stone’s love interest, is a longshot at 20/1. It’s going to be a close call in the category as Casey Affleck and Denzel Washington battle it out at the head of the betting.

Manchester By The Sea’s Casey Affleck is edging favouritism at 8/11, but Denzel, who is nominated for his part in Fences, is following closely behind at 6/5.
