Midlands Punter Scoops £8,000 Profit From £1 Lotto Flutter

The paint is only just dry on the walls, but a new BoyleSports shop in the Midlands has already been hit by a punter walking off with a four-figure sum, all for a small stake of £1 on some lucky numbers.

Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker acquired their first UK high street shops this summer and one anonymous customer has swooped already after placing a tiny wager on Saturday for the evening Irish Lotto draw.

They picked out four numbers and faced odds of 8,000/1 on them all rolling out.

That’s exactly what happened as 22, 24, 34 and 40 all dropped and triggered the celebrations.

The lucky run of numbers allowed the lucky punter to return to the shop and pick up a tidy total of £8,001.
