Rita Wont Let X Factor Hopefuls Down As Favourite Judge

The X Factor kicks of this weekend and already punters have been backing their favourite judge to claim the title this year.

The allure of being a new judge seems to be working for Rita Ora as she heads the betting at 2/1 to have the wining act and has seen the most support from punters.

Unfortunately for Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw this is not the case for him and at 10/3 he is the longshot of the bunch to have the winner on his team.

Simon has won on three occasions and dominated last season with winner Ben Haenow and runner up Fleur East. He is Rita’s biggest competition and is hot on her heels at 9/4 to claim his fourth win this year.

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has an impressive track record on the show having won it two years in a row in 2008 and 2009, however she was unsuccessful last year with none of her Girls making the final and it has had an impact on her price as she lies third in the betting at 12/5.

Good news for any boys auditioning for the X Factor as the Boys head the winning category betting at 15/8. The Girls are next in the betting at 9/4 to produce the winner.

Despite the Overs reigning supreme last year it is 11/4 the winner will come for the category this time round. Groups have had little success on the show with Little Mix the only group to have won in eleven years and at 4/1 they are expected to struggle.

Rita has already been attracting all the support ahead of the X Factor and despite not faring out very well on the Voice UK it looks like the X Factor could be a better fit for her at 2/1 to strip reigning champion Simon of his title.

The Boys are by far the most successful category with four winners and four runner-ups to their name.

It’s a good omen for any hopefuls headed into the Boys and any judge who gets the category as they are early frontrunners to win.
