Tyrion Lannister Backed To Rule Westeros

The betting is starting to heat up again after the premiere date for the final season of Game of Thrones was confirmed on Monday.

The highly anticipated finale was revealed in a teaser featuring a prominent appearance from Jon Snow and is nailed down to be shown at 2am on April 15th in the UK.

Snow, as well as Daenerys Targaryen, were both gambled significantly after Season 7 concluded, seeing Jon finally bend the knee to Daenerys and being revealed as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.

However, we rate Bran Stark as the most likely character to keep an eye on during the final episodes as he sits on top of the betting as a double-your-money Even money shot to rule Westeros at the show’s conclusion.

The character played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright had at one stage been a 33/1 outsider but is now the hot favourite.

There has also been a significant gamble before the finale on Tyrion Lannister, who had been an outside 20/1 shot before Christmas. The actor who portrays the character, Peter Dinklage, has teased that the show is set for a ‘brutal’ final battle scene and he is now just an 8/1 shot himself to rule Westeros when the credits roll after an upsurge in bets.
