Will Cersei Lannister Be The First Casualty Of Game Of Thrones Finale?

Fans are predicting an early downfall for Cersei Lannister in the upcoming final season of Game of Thrones after she was backed to be the first to die when the finale hits our screens in April.

The latest teaser for fanatics of the hit HBO show came during the Oscars, where Arya Stark was seen smiling at the sky after a Dragon flew over the Unsullied soldiers.

Arya is 20/1 with us to be the first killed off in the final season but at 12/1 she is more likely to be the character who ends the show as the ruler of Westeros.

Cersei Lannister is unlikely to finish the series sat on the Iron Throne if the betting is to be believed, as she is out at 11/1 after being deserted by her brother Jamie before the conclusion to season 7.

Whether that leaves her vulnerable remains within the well-hidden scripts, however some observers are now backing her for an early end, as her odds to be the first to die in season 8 have closed into 12/1 from 20/1 this week.

Euron and Yara Greyjoy lead the betting at 5/2 to be the first casualties of the highly-anticipated final season, while Bran Stark remains a firm and popular favourite at Even money to rule Westeros when the credits roll for the final time.
