Celtic are hoping to relive their victory over Barcelona last year and continue their bid for the Champions League when they face Elfsborg tomorrow night.
The Hoops are firm favourites at 8/15 to win the first leg of the third qualifying round.
Boylesports has installed Swedish side, Elfsborg, at 5/1 to win, whilst a draw is available at 3/1. Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker has priced The Bhoys at 7/1 to replicate their 2-1 win over Barca against The Yellow Ones in Celtic Park.
Mohamed Bangura is in a bit of a dilemma ahead of the match as he is playing for Lennartsson’s side after going to the Swedes on loan. He could crush his club’s Champions League dreams and he is on offer at 15/2 to open the scoring. However, Hoops striker, Anthony Stokes, will be on hand to take Mo down and he is available at 3/1 to score first, with Boylesports.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports, commented “Celtic have the Champions League in their grasp and after last year they have shown that they have the ability to bring down major teams.”
He added “Mo Bangura is in a difficult position as he could potentially be the reason Celtic head to the Europa League should he lead Elfsborg to victory.”
