Allen Cut For Masters After Murphy Scalp

Mark Allen has been slashed from 22/1 to 8/1 to win the 2016 Masters after knocking out Shaun Murphy at the Alexandra Palace on Sunday.

The Antrim man hit two century breaks on his way to a 6-4 victory over the defending champion and awaits the winner of Barry Hawkins v Joe Perry in the quarter finals.

Ronnie O’Sullivan now heads the outright betting as he bids to win a sixth title.

O’Sullivan is red hot at 3/10 to get past Mark Williams (5/2) on Tuesday and is currently the 11/4 favourite to go all the way.

2012 winner and beaten 2013 finalist Neil Robertson is next in the outright betting at 7/2 with Judd Trump at 11/2 and 2013 champion Mark Selby next at 7/1.
