Moyes Over Sherwood! David Moyes Tipped For Villains Job

Aston Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Swansea on Saturday proved detrimental for Villains manager Tim Sherwood after he was sensationally sacked, having been only at the club a mere eight months.

David Moyes, who was sacked as Manchester United manager after ten months, is the frontrunner to replace Sherwood at Evens.

Brendan Rodgers is a free agent after getting the boot as Liverpool boss due to their disappointing 2015/16 season, but he may not have to wait long for work as he is second in the betting at 4/1 to become Aston Villa manager.

Axed Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is next in the betting at 9/2, with ex USA boss Bob Bradley on offer at 6/1 and current Burnley manager Sean Dyche priced at 10/1 to make the move.

Also in the running are Mark Warbuton at 14/1 and Dick Advocaat, who stepped down as Sunderland boss just weeks ago, at 20/1 with Aitor Karanka, Harry Redknapp, Avram Grant, Frank De Boer and former Schalke manager Roberto Di Matteo all 25/1 shots to take up the role at Villa Park.
