Katie Taylor Eased In The Betting To Win Gold

We can report that Katie Taylor has been eased to retain her Olympic Gold medal ahead of her opening quarter final next Monday as support has come in for French boxer Estelle Mossely.

Mossely, who won gold in the 2016 World Championships, is now 3/1 from 4/1 and a result, Katie Taylor has been eased slightly in the betting to 8/11 from 4/6.

Azerbaijan’s Yana Alekseevna is next in the betting at 6/1 to win the gold, whilst Australian Shelley Watts and Russia’s Anastasia are next in the betting at 12/1.

Taylor starts her bid to retain gold next Monday in the quarter finals of the Women’s 60kg Lightweight division. There is no doubt, if she can win her first match the current 8/11 about the Bray native will look like a knockout price despite the plunge coming in for current World champion Mossely.
