McGregor Favourite To Record Notorious Win Over Diaz In Rematch

Conor McGregor sought his redemption in Las Vegas on Saturday when he beat Nat Diaz in their UFC 202 rematch fight.

McGregor won by judge’s decision in a thrilling match that had everyone gripped. This was the second time the two fighters met after Nate beat Conor back in March in UFC 196 by submission in the second round. With McGregor recording one victory and Nate recording one victory, BoyleSports think there will be another rematch to finally put this rivalry to rest once and for all.

Should the Notorious and Diaz face off in the octagon again the betting is heavily on the Irishman’s side at 4/7 to win. Despite the pair level on victories Diaz is priced at 11/8 to get one up on McGregor.

It was a gruelling fight from the start to the finish, but Conor McGregor prevailed and made up for his second round defeat to Diaz in March. McGregor v Diaz is one of the greatest sporting rivalries that has everyone, be they UFC fans or not, hooked, so we suspect there could be one more battle left between the pair, especially with many saying Diaz was in fact the deserved winner.
