Brooks Tipped To Play Croke Park In 2017

With speculation that Garth Brooks still wants to play Croke Park, BoyleSports has priced up some specials on the American country singer.

Brooks is red hot at 1/4 to play a date at Croke Park in 2017 with 1/3 the price on offer that he will play three nights at the Dublin venue. Brooks, who had five dates cancelled at the venue in 2014 due to uproar from residents around Croke Park, is 1/20 to return to the stadium before 2020.

Ed Sheeran played three nights in 2015 at the venue and can be backed at 3/1 to return in 2017 whilst Coldplay, who are currently touring with their “A Head Full Of Dreams” tour, are priced at 11/2 to turn GAA headquarters “Yellow” and maybe cause further “Trouble” at the venue in 2017.

Garth Brooks is almost a certainty to return to Croke Park next year if he’s allowed

…but diehard fans may well be disappointed as he will only be allowed to play three nights unless the Croke Park concert rule of three concerts per year is uplifted.

Ed Sheeran, who is currently on a break from music wouldn’t be out of the running to play Croker in 2017 but if Mr Brooks has his way he will want to play all three available concert dates. The only thing that might backfire on him is that he disappointed a lot of fans with the fiasco that he caused in 2014 and his friends in low places may not have forgiven him.
