Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that manager Nuno Espirito Santo will leave his post as the club’s manager following the final game of the season against Manchester United with Bruno Lage the favourite to replace him.

Former Benfica manager Bruno Lage is the early favourite to be named Wolves manager following the impending departure of Nuno Espirito Santo resulting in him being swiftly installed as favourite since the announcement was made.

He has been cut into 8/13 from 8/11 on Friday afternoon to take over at Molineux with Rafa Benitez next in the betting at 5/1.

Former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe can be backed at 14/1 while ex-Roma and Porto manager Paulo Fonseca is 10/1.

Steven Gerrard has seen some early support with his chances already into 10/1 from 12/1 ahead of Frank Lampard who is 14/1.
