Celtic v Bodo Glimt Betting Tips, Odds, TV Channel & Kick-Off Time | UEFA Conference League Play-Off

Celtic are in UEFA Conference League action on Thursday night against Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt so let’s take a look at the betting markets.

The Scottish giants have been in remarkable form of late. In fact, the last time they lost a match in any competition was back in November against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League group stages. The Germans are also the last team to win at Parkhead at the end of September.

Celtic are current favourites to win against Bodo/Glimt in the first leg this play-off encounter, but the Norwegian outfit were unbeaten in six of this season’s UEFA Conference League group stages – including a 6-2 thrashing of Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

“Oh, that side!” I hear you say. Indeed. They also held the Italians on their own patch to a 2-2 draw, so will be far from easy for Celtic. A stern test awaits on Thursday night.

CELTIC ARE BACK IN SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP ACTION ON SUNDAY AGAINST DUNDEE

Two players in particular for the visitors who found the net past Roma in both fixtures were Ola Solbakken and Eric Botheim. However, the latter has left the club during the winter months for Russian Premier League side Krasnodar.

Solbakken, though, is very much worth keeping an eye on for First Goalscorer and Anytime Goalscorer markets. He has four goals in six group games.

Bodo/Glimt are also 9/4 to score the first goal, 5/1 to be leading at half-time and 11/2 to score in both halves.

However, it must be said, Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic have kept a clean sheet in four out of their last five in all comps, so this makes for an eye-catching match-up. You can get a Celtic clean sheet at 13/10.

Taking a look at the hosts and they’ve got a number of players having outstanding seasons. One being Liel Abada, who has 11 goals and 8 assists from 33 games, including 54 shots.

He has three goals in his last four Scottish Premiership games and is one to consider for First, Anytime and 2+ Goals markets.

Elsehwere, Jota has 10 goals and 7 assists this season, while Tomas Rogic has 9 goals and 5 assists. Those particular three just mentioned are all expected to start for Postecoglou’s side.

You’re probably wondering when we’ll mention Japanese ace Kyogo Furuhashi. A brilliant campaign so far with 13 goals in 22 games – but will he be fit after injury?

He’s believed to have been named in the squad, but whether he’ll start is questionable. An Anytime Goalscorer market might be one to keep an eye on once we get official team news an hour before kick-off.

The same can be said for David Turnbull, who has been turning heads with 7 goals, 6 assists and whopping 99 chances created in 28 games – that’s an average of 3.54 per game.

However, he’s also returning from injury and has been named in the squad, but even if he doesn’t make the clash then he’s one consider for the assist market moving forward.

We think there could be plenty of action at both ends and are predicting a score draw. That’s available at 4/1.

Specifically, we like a 2-2 scoreline which is available at 14/1. Both teams to score and Over 3.5 Goals is also 21/10.
