Do you see Celtic’s 100% record continuing this weekend?
It will be a very open Old Firm this weekend. Both teams have great spending power now and are pulling further and further away from the rest of the league.
Celtic were nothing short of fantastic under Ange Postecoglou last season and they’re still ahead of Rangers but it is closer than it has been in previous years.
Ange’s standards set him apart from every other manager. Celtic were a mess when he took over and he came in at the right time. He’s a calm and calculated individual that the players really respect.
Celtic’s 100% record will continue this weekend.
Morelos likely to not be risked – advantage to Celtic?
There’s no doubt what a fit and firing Alfredo Morelos brings to the team but his attitude isn’t right and he’s let Rangers down.
He’s cost them a lot of points. Morelos has a lot of questions he needs to answer and he owes the manager and fans far more than what he’s shown.
Who will fare better in the Champions League and Premier League?
The atmosphere [at Celtic Park and Ibrox] is the one thing that is in Celtic and Rangers’ favour in the Champions League. Whoever plays against them both will face a very hostile crowd.
It’s difficult to say who will perform better in the Champions League, but for Scotland on the whole, I hope they both do well but I do also hope that Celtic go further.
Rangers European heroics last season will no doubt stand them in good stead in this season’s Champions League.
If they were ever in the English Premier League, they’d both be unbelievable additions. What they would bring to the league would only enhance it.
Both Celtic and Rangers would comfortably be top 10 teams to start off. They wouldn’t struggle at all, and that’s down to the pulling power that they both have.
I get the impression that the Scottish Premier League this season will go down to the wire. Celtic are my favourites and they have a bigger strength in depth.
Rangers have strengthened though and there’s a lot more competition for places and the Old Firm will definitely dictate where the league goes.
