Christmas Pints! Odds Shrink For December To See The Reopening Of Irish Pubs

Earlier this week, Irish punters requested odds with BoyleSports traders on the chances of us going to the pubs, Croke Park and even Electric Picnic this summer.

There were some signs of optimism for Irish people being allowed back into the pubs this summer

…with most of the support coming for August to be the month we can celebrate as those odds were trimmed into 2/1 from 10/1. However, Friday afternoon was a different story as December was the month that attracted significant support.

Should COVID-19 deny the Irish people of freedom until the festive month then a trip to your local in December is now 16/1 from 20/1. Should the reopening of pubs happen before that, October is 5/1 and November can be backed at 10/1.

Sports fans are hoping they can attend the All-Ireland final this year at Croke Park with over 5,000 people being allowed through the gates of the GAA HQ now 9/2 from 8/1.

Music lovers wishing to attend Electric picnic at a capacity of over 5,000 is 7/2 while the same for the National Ploughing Championships is 3/1 from 4/1
