Christmas Specials – Snowfall & X-Factor Xmas Single

The Christmas season is nearly upon us and although some people don’t like talking about Christmas in November, I can report that they have had to slash the odds of snow to fall in Dublin on Christmas Day following support.

Snow to fall in Dublin on Christmas Day is now priced at 3/1 having initially been installed at 4/1. Both Glasgow and Edinburgh are at 11/4 for some white downpour whilst the Rebel County, Cork, is priced at 4/1.

Its currently 8/1 that the heaviest Irish snowfall on record will be recorded in 2014 whilst its 11/4 that anywhere in Ireland will see snow in the month of November.

We have been snowed under with a blanket of bets yesterday. With temperatures set to drop in the coming weeks we may well be hit by a blizzard come the 25th December.

X Factor Special
In the music world the race for the Christmas Number One has already started with the 2014 X Factor winner expected to be Christmas Number 1 in Ireland as they are priced at 2/7.

The X Factor winner to be Christmas Number 1 in the UK is priced at 3/1 as the odds of 1/4 suggest that the new Band Aid 30 song will outsell the X Factor winner in the UK.

The low odds on the X Factor winners’ single topping the charts is probably down to the fact that for the past eight years they have filled the Irish Christmas Number 1 spot.
