Dublin Punters Share Big Win After Freak Football Results

A stunning series of results in the Europa and Champions League saw three punters in Dublin walk off with handsome payouts after they correctly predicted a clean sweep of home wins.

Three anonymous customers struck bets in three separate BoyleSports shops in the capital early last week, with one investing €5, one €10 and the other €20.

They opted for accumulators of 10-12 teams, each one of them playing at home. The ambitious wagers made a great start when all eight Europa League ties on Wednesday and Thursday, including wins for Manchester United (2/9) and Wolves (8/11), went the way of the hosts.

That left four Champions League matches over Friday and Saturday and when Juventus (4/9), Man City (4/6), Barcelona (8/13) and Bayern Munich (4/11) all won on home soil, the incredible run was complete.

Thanks to their incredible foresight, the punters took their share of a grand total of €17,770.99 from stakes adding up to €35 between them.
