€16,500 EuroMillions Win For Cork Punter From €0.50 Stake

A punter in Co Cork was left in shock on Friday night when four lucky numbers saw them transform some loose change into the whopping amount of €16,500.50 in the EuroMillions.

The anonymous customer placed the tiny stake of just €0.50 in their local BoyleSports shop in Cork on the four numbers 10, 22, 40 and 48 to be revealed during Friday evening’s EuroMillions draw.

The accumulator only cost the punter €0.50 and when all four numbers rolled out of the machine the ambitious bet overcame the mammoth odds of 33,000/1.

The stunning run of luck allowed them to return to the shop the following day to exchange their betslip for a total of €16,500.50, a fantastic start to the weekend.
