Kildare Lotto Player Scoops Five Figures For Four Numbers

A punter in County Kildare is celebrating in style this weekend after pulling off a Lotto coup by landing a series of bets with four lucky numbers.

The customer, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a €1 yankee bet in a BoyleSports shop in the county on Saturday. A yankee consists of 11 bets and while any two of the numbers would have yielded a profit for the customer, if all four numbers landed then all 11 bets would click.

And that’s exactly what happened when 23, 25, 30 and 31 all rolled out in the Lotto Plus draw on Saturday evening. With odds of 7,500/1 against four numbers coming out, an initial €7501 was on its way into the punter’s pocket.

But when all other combinations were added, it made for a total haul of €10,371 for the Kildare customer who had invested just €11 on their weekend flutter.
