Liam Backed For Return To Glastonbury In 2020… With Oasis

Glastonbury 2019 may still be in full swing, but the focus is already shifting on to who will headline the Pyramid Stage on the 50th anniversary of the festival next year.

Festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis have already claimed that two acts have been booked for the anniversary bash, and it’s a band who made their festival debut 25 years who are top of the betting to take to the Pyramid stage in 2020.

Liam Gallagher told revellers at his appearance as a solo artist at the weekend that he hoped to return next year ‘for the hat-trick’ after playing two of the last three years and he’s 6/4 with BoyleSports to be performing as part of a reunited Oasis line up.

Bruce Springsteen also has a new album and tour in the pipeline and he joins the Manc rockers as 6/4 joint favourite.

Despite never having played at the Worthy Farm venue, rumours of Fleetwood Mac being top bill are rife and they are just 9/4 shots to make their Glasto debut after telling fans at a Wembley gig last week that they ‘still had a big field to play.’

U2 were the subject of some bad reviews the last time they played at the Somerset venue in 2011, but BoyleSports have cut their odds into 5/2 from 5/1 that they will attempt to restore some pride by headlining next year.

It’ll be a hot ticket to get your hands on next year and we’ve seen money for both U2 and Fleetwood Mac to be amongst the headliners.

And while some might say that an Oasis reunion is wishful thinking, we’re taking no chances at 6/4.
