Lotto Luck In Louth As EuroMillions Punters Win €16,500

There was plenty of lotto luck shining down on Co. Louth on Tuesday evening as two punters won big on the EuroMillions in separate shops.

The first successful lotto wager came from a €6 treble when a customer selected the numbers 2, 3 and 15 to roll out of the machine.

The punter didn’t have long to wait as all three numbers were drawn and the massive odds of 1,500/1 were trounced, winning a stunning amount of €9,006.

The second big payout for another Louth punter came from a €5 treble that was placed on numbers 15, 19 and 34 again at odds of 1,500/1. When all the numbers came out of the machine the celebrations started as the small stake transformed into €7,505 in a matter of minutes.

When the draw was complete and the numbers were known, a combined sum of €16,500 was won in Co. Louth.
