Monaghan Magic Sees €22,000 Win On Two 100/1 Virtual Horses

A punter in County Monaghan is celebrating a stunning stroke of luck after a flutter on two huge outsiders landed them a mega five-figure cash boost.

The anonymous customer started on the road to riches by walking into a BoyleSports shop in the county and picking out two 100/1 shots to win virtual horse races at Sprint Valley and Steepledowns.

They placed a €2 each-way double on the pair and also struck two €2 each-way singles, ensuring a return should either horse win.

A healthy profit was already secured when Chosen Motto overcame the mammoth odds to land the first race at 4.54, but the unthinkable happened 40 minutes later when Tyberry Chin also came in at the same price.

The odds on both horses winning stood at an astounding 10,200/1.

The total investment of €12 was enough to see the lucky Monaghan punter walk off with a staggering total of €22,262.
