Plucky Dubliner €21,910 Richer From Only Three Lotto Numbers

A Dublin punter has reason to celebrate this weekend after landing a mouth-watering five figure sum thanks to just three lucky Lotto numbers.

The anonymous customer called into a BoyleSports shop in the capital on Saturday and placed a confident €35 wager on three numbers landing in the main Irish Lottery draw later that evening.

They were up against a quote of 625/1 on all three numbers coming out, but those odds had evaporated by the end of the draw as 8, 11 and 18 had all rolled out of the machine within the six main numbers.

The stroke of fortune allowed them to return to the shop and swap their betslip for a staggering total of €21,910.

It was nice to see some good news for one of our customers in Dublin at the weekend and we have to applaud their bold approach.

They only needed three numbers to land a five-figure sum and we hope the winnings go down well.
