Robert Troy A Trojan Horse In Fianna Fail Leader Betting

Next Fianna Fail Leader

Outright Betting

With Michael Martin having a tough time as leader of Fianna Fáil it may be time for him to step down and BoyleSports currently has the party’s spokesperson on Finance, Michael McGrath, as the 5/2 favourite.

McGrath’s nearest rival in the betting is Mayo native, Dara Calleary, at 7/2 whilst Carlow-Kilkenny TD, John McGuinness, is next in the betting at 5/1.

Longford/Westmeath TD, Robert Troy, who is the party’s spokesperson on Children, has seen movement in the past few days after getting high praise from Michael Martin and as a result his price has halved into 33/1 from 66/1 following some shrewd bets.

With things not all rosy in the Irish government, BoyleSports is offering 10/11 that there will be a general election before the end of 2015 whilst it’s 5/6 that a general election will take place after that.

Troy has been the biggest mover in the past 48 hours following numerous bets placed on him across the country and that current price of 33/1 may well dry up sooner rather than later.

Michael McGrath currently heads the betting to succeed Martin as leader of Fianna Fáil but he has had very little support in the market so far and has been eased out.
