Three Wise Numbers Bag Northern Lotto Punter Late Christmas Gift Of £7,505

A Northern Irish punter is thanking their lucky stars for taking a modest punt on three Lotto numbers after they landed a tasty four-figure sum just as the Christmas turkey was settling.

The customer placed a £5 treble in a BoyleSports shop in the north on Friday and were left hoping for numbers 1, 7 and 22 all to come out in the main EuroMillions draw that evening.

There was a nervous wait as only one of the numbers had rolled out in the first three, but when 7 and 1 were the last two numbers out, the money was landed against odds of 1,500/1.

They were able to return to the shop on Saturday to swap their lucky betslip for a grand total of £7,505.
